Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This past weekend clergy assignments were announced by the Diocese of Columbus. Father Olvera has been named the Pastor at St. Bernadette Parish in Lancaster (including St. Joseph Church, Sugar Grove). Additionally, Father Antony Varghese, has been appointed to serve as the Administrator at both St. Dominic Church and St. Francis of Assisi Church (both in Columbus). The assignments are effective July 9.

Father Olvera and Father Antony have both made a permanent mark on our parish and they will unquestionably be missed. I am confident that as they move on, they will guide their new parishioners in their faith journey as well.

Please look for more information about our plans to send them off with our heartfelt best wishes. In the meantime, please do keep all our clergy in your prayers.
