Pray With Us During Lent!

Looking for additional ways to pray during Lent? Join us for a Friday Fish Fry followed by Stations of the Cross, one of our Lenten penance services, and our parish mission!

Parish Mission:

Our Annual Parish Mission will take place on March 17 — March 19 at 7:00 PM in the Church. We will be welcoming Rev. Pawel Rytel-Andrianik, SSD, DPhil, Chief of the Polish section of the Vatican Radio and Vatican News, and a resident of the Vatican, as our mission preacher.

Fridays of Lent

In commemoration of Jesus’ death on Good Friday, every Friday during Lent is a day of penance and obligatory abstinence for Catholics. All Catholics from age 14 onwards are obliged to abstain from meat.

Join us for one of our Friday Fish Fry dinners, hosted by our local Knights of Columbus council, and afterward pray the Stations of the Cross in the church.

Friday, February 16, 23 · March 1, 8, 15, 22

5–7:30 PM Fish Fry in Miller Hall
7:30 PM Stations of the Cross in the church

Penance Services

One of the five Precepts of the Church which all Catholics are called to observe is to go to confession at least once every year (CCC 2042). During Lent, in addition to our regular weekly confession times, we have two Wednesday evening penance services with several additional priests hearing confessions. Whether you go to confession regularly or have not been in a while, we invite you to come this Lent!

Wednesday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 20

7 PM Penance Service with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Multiple priests available to hear confessions.
