About this Event

It’s time for our parish’s annual Bring a Turkey to Church service project. While most of the turkeys will be given to the Community Kitchen, about 100 will go to St. Dominic for their Thanksgiving meal. Thanks to the awesome generosity of our St. Paul parish family, we have made an impact in feeding those in need over the last 26 years. The years’ Bring a Turkey to Church weekend will be our 27th year! The current economic conditions, especially as they relate to the high price of food, has taken a heavy toll on so very many. Obviously, this is a huge problem for so very many individuals and families.

Let’s make this year’s drive significant and feed as many men, women and children as possible.

Please bring your FROZEN turkey to the front entrance of our church the weekend of November 23-November 24. A truck will be located in the parking lot after the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday, November 23 to accept your donations. Frozen turkeys and food donations will also be accepted before and after the 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and the Noon Masses on Sunday, November 24. Your generous donations will not only help feed hundreds of men, women and children over the holidays, but also throughout 2025.

Please note that turkeys will NOT be collected before or after the 5:00 PM Mass on Sunday.

Other food items that would be most appreciated include:

• Canned green beans
• cranberry sauce
• chicken or turkey gravy
• salt and pepper
• garlic powder
• mashed potato mix
• stuffing mix,
• dinner rolls
• bottles of water
• cans of pop

No time to shop? Monetary donations are also welcomed and will be used to purchase the various additional items needed for the holiday meals and the overall daily operation of the Community Kitchen. In the true spirit of stewardship, we are called upon as Catholics and Christians to share in our blessings. This is an excellent opportunity to help those who are less fortunate than we are.
