2026 Lenten Parish Mission with Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap.
Over three powerful evenings in Lent, Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap., led the parish in a mission that challenged, inspired, and renewed. Hundreds of parishioners filled the church each night to hear Fr. Tuscan speak on the greatest threats to holiness, the vocation of raising faithful Catholic families, and ultimately, the solution that Christ offers each of us.

Night 1: The Greatest Threat to Holiness Today

How do we raise faithful Catholics and encourage the return of those who have left? Fr. Tuscan offered practical wisdom and deep encouragement rooted in the words of St. Padre Pio.

Night 3: The Solution
The mission concluded with a special 7:00 PM Mass. Fr. Tuscan’s homily brought the three nights together, pointing to Christ as the answer to every challenge he had named.

Relics, Confession, and the Rosary
Each evening began at 6:30 PM with the rosary and confessions. Relics of St. Padre Pio and Blessed Solanus Casey were available for veneration, and on the opening night the clergy offered individual blessings with the relics at the foot of the altar.

About Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap.

Fr. Joseph Tuscan was born in Columbus, OH, in 1967 and raised in Canton, OH. Professing his first vows as a Capuchin Franciscan friar in 1990, he was ordained to the priesthood in 1997. He served four years in Papua New Guinea and has since ministered as a parochial vicar, pastor, military and hospital chaplain, and in the Province’s Custody of Puerto Rico.
Fr. Joseph currently serves as the Director General of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers and in full-time preaching ministry for the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine, offering retreats and reflection days for parishes, religious, and priests.
