When You Have Lost a Loved One

Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things many of us will ever face. Grief can be heavy, disorienting, and at times overwhelming. The sorrow that follows death often comes in waves, and no two people experience it in the same way.

In moments like these, it can be difficult to know what to do next or where to turn. You may feel sadness, confusion, anger, or even numbness. You may feel close to God, or you may feel distant from Him. Whatever you are experiencing, you are not alone.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted. He is with you in your suffering, your questions, and your mourning. He does not rush your healing, and He does not abandon you in your pain.

As a parish, we want to walk with you during this time. Whether your loss is recent or many years ago, you are welcome here.

Find Support for Grief

Grief is deeply personal, and healing often takes time. In addition to the support of family and friends, many people find it helpful to speak with a priest, spiritual advisor, or professional counselor.

We can help connect you with trusted resources and support.
