Today we have the great joy of celebrating the dedication of St. John Lateran Basilica in Rome, this church that has the unique title of being honored as the mother and head of all churches. And as we celebrate the dedication of this church, we also then celebrate the great gift and mystery of the church, and we're invited to grow in our love for the Church.
