Volunteer Requirements
Adult childcare volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and complete all Diocese of Columbus Safe Environment requirements before serving with children.
This includes:
Registering through VIRTUS
Completing the Protecting God’s Children (PGC) training
Passing a background check
Scheduling and completing fingerprinting (contact the school office to schedule your appointment at (614) 882-2710)
Students in 7th–12th grade (under age 18) are welcome to serve as Teen Assistants to earn service hours. Teen Assistants must always work alongside approved adult volunteers and may not supervise children independently.
Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for every child in our care. We ask all volunteers to model Christian charity, treat every child with dignity and respect, and follow all parish and diocesan Safe Environment policies.
