Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, the Diocese of Columbus is gradually lowering the age for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation to fourth grade. This transition will take place over four school years through a phased rollout at St. Paul the Apostle.
Use the tool below to find out when your child is scheduled to receive Confirmation. If your family’s situation requires additional steps, the tool will let you know and point you in the right direction.
Our parish is committed to walking with your family through this transition. Preparation for Confirmation will continue through both our school and Parish School of Religion programs, with a strong emphasis on forming your child’s relationship with Jesus Christ and deepening their understanding of the faith.
