On the feast of St. Jane Frances de Chantal, as our parish staff begins a day of retreat, we turn to Ezekiel's terrifying vision of a defiled temple and are reminded that by baptism we ourselves have become temples of the Holy Spirit. Sin defiles that dwelling place, and the regular practice of confession cleanses it, making our lives a worthy home for the living God.
