The same power of the gospel that was present in St. Paul's life and ministry, that same power of the gospel we need today. The first Christian communities, an absolute minority religion with no influence, no power, no wealth, no standing, were literally the seed and the foundation of the transformation of what we now call Western civilization. This gospel, this good news, has the power to transform a civilization. If it did it once, it can do it again.
